    Tailstock slipping

I seem to recall a thread about tailstock slippage on the Jet. Anyone recall where this is at?

I really haven't had any problems with my JET; but am in the process of cobbling up a replacement for the round washer on my clamp as a preventitive measure. The ones made by Keith and others are well worth the money; but I figure I can make a satisfactory substitute from a little scrap metal, a hack saw and my propane torch for about a buck and a half......my time ain't worth much as I enjoy tinkering!!
