    Y.A.C.V (Yet another creeker visit)

This past weekend, I had the honor and priviledge of receiving a visit from Steve Wargo to my incredibly humble shop. As many of you know, Steve is temporarily living in Oklahoma City while attending training at the FAA. Steve is diligently working on his next project (a nice little gallery desk) and needed the use of a bandsaw from some rough cutting. I offered my barely passable Delta 14" which Steve suffered through like a real trooper.

The nice thing about this is that I actually got to stand away from the saw and witness what has been causing some vibration for about a month now. The motor had actually loosened itself from the mount! The saw was much smoother after correcting this little flaw but unfortunately, we didn't fix it until Steve was almost finished with all his cuts! I promise I'll do better next time Steve.

Steve was also gracious enough to allow me the use of one of his round-bottom molding planes which I put to good use shaping the inside of a coopered door. You can just make out the door on the pics with the lumber rack in the background. No, that's NOT a badly warped board!

Steve is a most gracious guy and we had a great time.

Here are the pics to keep me from getting in trouble.

It was a very nice visit Richard. Glad we got that BS running a litle better. Shop is much more adequate than he makes out. Visit #2 will be coming soon. Talk to you soon.

I thououghly enjoy Creekers visiting my shop and I love to visit others shops too. I've yet to hear of anyone having a bad experience. I'm glad you two had the chance to get together.
