    Utensils

These are some wooden utensils turned from some scraps and branches. The top one is an apple wood stirring stick.
The middle is a chinese elm peanut butter or mayonaisse spreader type thing that will get all the way to the bottom of the jar without getting the stuff all over your hands.
And the bottom is a bona fide black walnut salmon fillet flipper spatulation device.
They all have some walnut oil rubbed on them and they're all about a foot or so long.

Good looking utensils Curt! I like the little burn marks on the apple.

The apple one reminds me of a letter opener that was in Woodwork magazine a few years ago. A little trimming and sanding and you've got a whole 'nother project. Good looking stuff.

Very nice. That mayonaisse spreader is a must do. I hate geting that stuff on my hands, the handle of the knife and everything else.

I agree! It's those darn hollow form glass jars with a 5" diameter body that was hollowed through a 1" opening.
