Has anybody had a chance to see or try out the new router kit from Ridgid?

I havent even seen them in HD, just their laminate trimmer. But I am anxious to see it.
Silence is golden but duct tape is silver.
I just saw the ad in the latest Wood Mag and it looks like a Ridgid is really trying to get into the game... I wonder if they are building it or if it's a rebadged machine (like the Metabo sanders in orange clothes )
I can pay retail anywhere, so how's your service?

Did anyone go ahead and buy this and what do you think of it?
That sure looks like the router I bought several months ago. If it is it works pretty good, it has a self centering adapter, dust collector ports. I have been using while making mortise and tennon joints for my kitchen cabinet doors. I had an older porter cable that my dad gave me. I can tell you the soft start makes a huge difference. If I remember correctly the adjuster for speed control goes from 13K to 23K I think......
This question has come up a few times now. If you go to the Search box and type "Ridgid Router" in the Google Sawmill Creek box, you'll pull up some threads where I and others have posted our observations about the kit.
Not sure if you've seen this already, but Tom Hintz reviewed this kit at:

I find his reviews informative, though there doesn't seem to be too many tools he doesn't speak favorable of. In all fairness, he normally picks decent brands and tools to review in the first place so I'd expect good reviews.
the switch stinks and it's hard to swap the motors but otherwise works pretty well. i love the built-in light and the CLEAR plastic base.
I picked one of this combo kits up and so far it seems fine. However, one concern I have is that I'm not certain that anyone makes a lift for this router. Any ideas?
I think the base accepts a PC690 3 screw bases but the motor casting is bigger than the PC.
