    Bandsaw & Dust Collector Question

Ok the other day I just ordered a General 650, Yorkcraft 20" Planer, and the Oliver 10" Jointer. Now I need to pick out a new Bandsaw and a mobile dust collector.

Ok for the bandsaw I have about 1200 bucks to spend what are my options. I'm looking for something with a good powerful motor with a resaw of around 10 to 12 inches.
And for a dust collector I have about 800 bucks to spend. I'm looking for a smaller unit that is mobile since my shop is small and going to be even smaller now. I want to get one with a cartridge filter that I can take from machine to machine or a blower so I can just vent the dust outside.

    Corey -

You are getting good quality machines!

    1) lot of Grizzly lovers on this forum....they will have a 2hp bandsaw to fit your specs...

    OR

Rikon has a solid 2hp ; 18" machine that you should look over.....

you should be able to find a 16"- 21" model in this $$$$ ballpark.

    2) can you be talked into a 2hp cyclone? That's the $800 mark but you'll spend another $400 on ducting --- but you'll be set with a superior DC unit....
