Anyone have a woodmaster 18" planer/molder/drumsander/rip saw

I was wondering if anyone has a woodmaster and if they like it. I am thinking about getting the 18" model. It sounds nice. Space saver, money saver. Although i am a little curious though, if you take a machine that is intended for one purpose and make it capable of doing other jobs does the original purpose become not as good? I hope that makes. I currently have an older 15" jet planer that i am thinking about selling to help pay for this. I wonder how well the drum sander option works because in the highlights they talk about how much better it works than hand sanding or using a hand held sander. Nothing about comaparing it to other drum sanders. I want to be sure that it is a great tool prior to spending 2k+ with attachments. For me that is alot of money. I was originally looking at purchasing a molder alone then i thought for a little more money i get alot more. Looking forward to your responses.

You bet, we have one.
I would not be able to do what I do today and make a profit with out it.

Although we ordered the rip saw, well we never have used it.
We did purchase the helical cutter head and that works well for us.
Sanding drum is excellent.
The woodmaster shines in every thing we have thrown at it or in it.
From large crowns to barrail to picture frame.
Bottom line,
The return on our investment was immediate.

I have been using a 718 for over 14 years & have been very happy with it. I only use it as a molder. Although I did use it as a planer a few times when I first bought it & it did a good job of planing.
