Video doing strange things during Sketchup tutorial pt 1

Hello everyone,

I've been going through part 1 of the Sketchup tutorial. Every time I start to draw what the instructions tell me to, the underlying screen starts moving around and losing focus. Whever I'm using an actual Sketchup tool, the drawings look ok. I've attached pics to show what I mean. Is this unique to my system, or is it a common anomoly?

Edit: Persistence paid off. I turned off the "Use fast feedback" option under the "window" -> "preferences" menu.

Michael...........I had a similar problem when I first loaded the program. Then I did a shutdown on my system and waited a while and then turned it back on. Everything has run normal since then. I don't know if I had a lot of memory tied up when I first loaded the program .....? Since then everything has run as it was supposed to...........Good luck!
