    Moose antler bottlestopper

Okay, bring on the critiques, wife said "bizzarre and weird".

Seemed like a good idea at the time........tried to "save" as much of the natural antler base as possible. Antler off a small 2 year old bull (yes, he was tasty ).

    Barry,

Now that's cool. I've been saving some deer antlers and was trying to figure out something to use the bigger parts for. This is a great idea. Even if the loyl doesn't like it, there are plenty of people who will.

Never eaten any moose. Haven't had any moose wine either but I'm willing to try anything once.

I like it even though it probably won't go over well with the hoity toity women's club around here for their wine and cheese party.

I bet that would sell, espically at like a gun show. Very unique. Would probably look heavy on a wine bottle, but it would fit a whiskey bottle also. I like it! And moose, delicious, even better than elk.

Ken, had a sister-in-law that many years ago drew one of two moose tags issued (that year) in Idaho. She bagged a big one, ended up with article and pictures in Field and Stream or one of those mags.

  9. Ya, we get moose in BC as well. When I was about 14 or so, one of my uncle bagged a big one (are there any other kinds?) and he got it at the bottom of a deep gully or ravine, took a lot of humping to get all that meat out of that deep hole, but we had steaks for a year

    GOOD eating!
