    Chittam bowl

    Turned this recently. The voids made for some interesting moments!

    Very nice, Jack, looks like you have been buy. That wood has some real character with the wholes, figure and knots. Great looking finish too!

    Super Bowl! I really like the voids in this wood and the way you turned to take advantage of them. Beautiful finish too.

    Wow...Busy guy there, Jack! Lookin' good. Almost looks like one could about dive right into the piece. Care to share your finishing routine on your pieces?

    Yeah Bob it would be a very messy desert night! As to the finish well I just took Zissner(spelling?)shellac and thinned it by half and just kept slopping it on, seems like 5 coats is where I said enough already! Finishing is one of those great divine mysteries that every once in a while works out for me Thanks for the kind words everyone!
