So much to learn, so little time.....
Thanks Ed, and Ken, and everyone else too!
Ken, there will be pictures BEFORE the new lathe gets installed in the Dungeon, I'm sure of that!
Cheers!
Dooooooooooooooooood....Now you're cookin' with gas!!! Congrats! I'm sure you're going to enjoy that machine as it's just a "little bit" better than the one you presently have! Hope the time goes by quickly in between now and when you receive it!

Stu, Any problem with the elec power available in Japan? Just curious if it will match or will you need an interface device of some sort? Phil
Don't touch my mustache! just joking, but the sounds are close.
Philip
What time is it now........ is another one!
Philip, I gather you spent some time here at one point?
Yes the power is slightly different, and it is a problem, one that I've already solved.
My buddy Alex has the same machine, he had a problem with it, but only in the summer, (I think he was getting brown outs as everyone runs their aircon), but the power here in the Kanto plain is 100V 50 Hz.
I have a step up transformer that will give me US spec power.
15 amps worth, that will be enough, I think, if it is not, well I'll just get another transformer.
Cheers!
What is this one Stu? I haven't heard that one. We used "Don't touch my mustache" in Hawaii a lot.Originally Posted by Stu Ablett in Tokyo Japan
