    Shuffel Board Table

This simple project for a friends local bar was a lot more work than it looks like. The actual playing surface is 19 inches wide by 12 feet long and glued and screwed 1 1/2 inch square blanks of Tigrillo Caspi and Limoncillo. The gutter on the sides and ends is carpeted with sandal sole material behind the carperting for sound protection. The base is Orange Agate and the sides of the box Cumala. The turning included 4 legs, four corner rosetts, 8 wooden pucks, 8 steel pucks and 4 adjustable leveling feet. The finish is a lot of coats of floor use polyurethane.

Welcome to the Creek, Jim and very nice work. Based on your location (and website), I'm guessing you have access to some really nice wood. Thanks for posting the pics...we'll be looking forward to more.
