    Walnut Tool Box Pencil - Wood from Bernie W.

    Bernie Weishapl kindly shared some walnut pen blanks from a family tree with me (he also sent some hickory, honey locust, spalted maple, elm, etc...). Thought I'd post a picture using one of the blanks. Interesting color with some curl to it. Kicked into what is left of the snow bank in the front yard to get to the clean, white stuff for the picture......
