    Sassafras platter/plate

When does a plate become a platter? I'm just gonna call this one a small platter! 10 1/2 ". I hadda lotta fun playing with the bead detail and kinda like it! I'm a big fan of simple and letting the wood be the star and I think it worked out here! Also I took Andy's advise on photo taking and I think I'm making a little progress in that department. Thanks for looking guys!.

P.S. I'll be posting some of this sassafrass in the blank exchange sticky thread if anyone wants to trade!

Kurt, that is great looking platter. If you say it is a platter then it is a platter. We each must live in our own reality.......

Nice platter Kurt and a great photo! The best part of outdoor pictures is you don't have to clean the kitchen or shop or ... before taking pictures!

Beautiful! Very nice touch with the bead, it adds just enough flair to compliment the wood nicely.
