A friend gave me plans for a work bench

I made a work bench then modified the plans to fit the lathe bench.
It is 4' long, 3" tall & 24" wide. It was made with
1 sheet of 3/4" Birch Plywood & 2 peices of 3/4" Melamine for top.
The open space in the leg with the garbage bag holds 50 lbs of sand in each leg & 200 lbs on shelf.

Looks nice and very sturdy too!

I was looking at the holes in the folding workmate and thinking it would make a good tool holder.

    Great job - enjoy it.

Guy's thaks for the comments. It was very easy & fun to make. My wrk shop is in my basement so whatever I get has to go down the cellar stairs I figured if anybody was looking for a cheap & very sturdy bench I would fwd the PDF plans to them share the wealth.
