    Blanket Chest

This a new blanket chest of Jatoba and curly Maple that is almost ready for finish. It is a combination of solid wood and shop sawn veneer.
The Jatoba is great to work with and takes a wonderful oil and varnish finish.

Is it too late for me to add another "WOW"???? Beautiful work, Greg! Very unique; Can we assume it's an original design? Like Jim said, some more details would be awesome!!!

Man ! that's some blanket check. Love the double tapered legs, the design and execution is superb.

Wow seems to be the operative word here. That's a great design, Greg, and the wood definitely does the design justice. Is it your design, or did you get it fom somewhere else? As has been mentioned, you'd better be planning to post finished pics, and any other details/construction progress pics will be welcome. Great job!
