Jospeh and his 1st finished bowls - pics

Pardon me while I pop my buttons here. I spent some time with Joseph this weekend to help him finish turn two of his now dry bowls. Dad helped him throughout the process, but he's getting the hang of bowl turning.

Here are two of his finished bowls. Both are Maple provided to him by Mark Cothren, Thanks Mark!!!!

Both bowls are about 7" across and about 3" tall.
Sanded through 400 grit and finished with a single coat of BLO (his choice of finish). We still have to buff them out, but that will be in a few days.

    Needless to say....I'm pretty proud!!!!!
