    Another Cherry Plate

Here is another cherry plate (9.5" diameter) from the same board with the crotch. Use turquoise Inlace with epoxy, some with blue dye added, to fill the crack. As before, I had to glue a waste board to the back to keep it together during the initial roughout. I got a little carried away while roughing the face of the plate, so it ended up less than 1/8" thick in the center section. Finish is linseed oil followed with Deft lacquer spray.

There sure isn't much keeping it together! Good job on saving it and very nice shape. Earl
