Our local cable company is having problems the last few days. We have even suffered outages that covered the entire eastern area of Virginia and some minor area problems. There is no telling how long before they resolve the problems and things return to normal.
Aaron has checked our server and all is working well so it is a network issue.

outages eh? Well...as companies continue to "cut back", so does service and increased response times to issues and problems. It takes MONEY to run a reliable ISP, and a LOT of it.
