copy and paste won't paste

I tried adding a ULR with a copy and paste to a thread reply this morning. The paste would not go into the message. Wassup?

I've never had it not work, but I have had it take so long that I initially thought it didn't work. When the thing finally caught up I'd end up with 3-4 copies pasted - one for every time I re-attempted. I should note, that I always paste using the old style Shift-Insert keystroke (which still works in addition to Ctrl-V). I hate Meeces to Pieces.

Ctrl-C=Copy, Ctrl-V=Paste. I used to love using wordstar before there was windows and word, I still like driving around the keyboard without the meese..
