    Combination router table/ts outfeed table

I am thinking about building a cabinet with a router table on top which will also serve as an outfeed table for my table saw. I am really leaning toward buying one of the new routers that have built in adjustments for table use instead of a router/lift combo. Is this a good idea? Is anyone using one of the new routers and how do you like it for table use? Thanks for any help.

I use the PC 890 in a router table with the built in lift and it works great for me. At first I used the top of the table crank but now, I just stick my hand under the table and use the adjustment on the base.

Either one works fine, but with the second approach, I don't have to hunt for the crank.

I have a Milwaukee 5625 in a table and have not used it a great deal but when I do I find that it is just easier and much faster to adjust it from below, just like Michael said. You have to reach in there anyway to unlock it so why not just go ahead and make the adjustment. Done. Piece of cake.

I suppose that there might be some instances where it might be advantageous to adjust looking from one end where the above the table crank would be an advantage but I have not needed it yet.

Since the ability is already there on some routers, at least you have it if you ever need it.
