Beautiful, Mike. Your execution and the beauty of the wood make a WINNING piece!

A lovely piece of work, Big Mike. Great work by all involved.

I always heard that to many cooks will spoil the soup, but evidently that does not apply to making HF's cause this is a beauty.

Let me make one thing perfectly clear. This piece was done with all the turning when Travis handed it over to me and said I could finish it. That means apply finish. Travis did the majority of the turning and is responsible for the shape. The rest of us cooks just stirred the pot a little.....

I have done so much with so little for so long I am now qualified to do anything with nothing......

P.S. If you are interested in plans for any project that I post, just put some money in an envelope and mail it to me and I will keep it.

  5. Mike's contribution was to grin like a mule eatin' briars while he hollowed on the inside. All the while singing, "I don't do hollow forms..."

My own personal contribution was this:

    (1) Step up to the lathe and begin
    (2) "Oh my!"
    (3) Step away from the lathe
    (4) "Okay Travis, let's see you fix THAT!"
