    Lube your chuck

Do you ever lube your chuck? If so with what? WD-40, silicon, teflon, 3in1 oil?
    Thanks

    lube chuck

First of all, I give it a good blowing out with lots of pressure to be sure no wood particles arent in there to clog it up. Then try it to see if that was the case. Then, a light, light spray to the gears. Dont make a habit of this, as it will begin to lose its grip. The engineers tell us that the metal is self-lubricating. Anyway, that is the way I do it. Max.
