    PM 701 Price Increase?

I've been looking at mortisers, the PM 701 specifically. Lots of literature I've read on it indicates that the street price should be $399, but now some sellers (like Amazon) are asking $469. This has happened in the last couple of days. Does anybody know if the $469 is the new asking price? And what would the price increase be attributed to?

I was eyeballing that unit for a long time at $399, but ended up with the Delta 14-651 for $145 or so and had to get it. I still think the PM is a better unit and I saw the price just jumped.

Toolking has it for $469 as well. The new price is just too much $$$ for a benchtop and doesn't even include chisels. Keep an eye on amazon as they may have a deal on it at some point.

I'm thinking that $469 is too high for a benchtop model as well, even one that is as nice as the PM.
