    Maple Purchase.....Pics

    Think I'm going to make a table out of this piece. It's western maple, about 2 inches thick. I really like the edge, not to mention the grain.

    Nice quilted maple...those are often from Oregon and called Big Leaf Maple. I've got a fair amount of that stuff, too!
    Wood: a fickle medium....

    Did you know SMC is user supported? Please help.

    WOW...... 2" thick and SO much figure.. I think I'd be tempted to slice it and use it for several special projects..

    Either way, nice buy. Just wish I had a piece like that..

    Looks like a nice slab of butterscotch fudge! Did you get that at Crosscut Hardwoods on 4th South or slab it from a tree in your back yard? I'm looking forward to seeing the finished project. Good nluck, JCB.

    Got it from Targo Woods in Bellingham. Real nice people there.
