grizzly g0514x?

does anybody have experinece with a 19" band saw by grizzly, model #g0514x. my wife and i are looking to buy a nice large bandsaw and this looks great. still i would like to talk to someone that has one befour i buy it.

A forum search shows that Ed Lang has a G0514. I don't know the difference between an x and a non x model. You might want to PM Ed and ask him how he like his G0514.

Steve, I am also a new member. I have the Shop Fox W1729. I really like the saw, the fence is not as heavy duty as the rest of the machine but can be adjusted to work properly. I believe the saw you are interested in is a 3HP and has nicer guides than the shop fox. I dont think you can do better on a new saw for the money. Good Luck!
