    Expansion joint question

I have a concrete driveway which was poured about 20 years ago using 2x4 divider/expansion joints. They are now due for replacement. I am considering so-called "outdoor wood" and Redwood, but I am totally open for suggestions.

You may want to look at some of the sythetic wood product used for decking. The borgs carry them. No swelling, no rot, etc.

In your driveway where cars could be turning their tires on the wood I would not use redwood-too soft and way too expensive. PT would be my first choice unless you could find an engineered product in the right thickness.
