It's funny, we as woodworkers see a tree like that and start frothing at the mouth. A "normal" person looks at the tree and thinks "someone should get rid of that hideous thing". My wife now even spots burl growth and points them out to me.

jim im only about hour from you so ill bring the chainsaws and camo we can get arrested together i figure at least that way you will have company and someone to talk to till our wives decide if they will bail us out or put us in the nut house

My wife now looks for trees with burl growth now also.....was out Elk hunting over the weekend and found jack pine burl the size of a 20lb pumpkin. will be going back this weekend with "stealth" saw to recover from mean ole forrest....
