By which I mean, what do I need to do to get this stuff?
Also: groovy.
ETA: I should really say "groovy, thanks" first and then ask about what I need to do, right? It's early, my ettiquette lobe isn't fully firing yet.

Did Jim Tobias ever claim his winnings ?? If not, will there be another drawing?
Or did I miss something?

Got the stones today -- nifty package. I think that little stone stand is going to be handy.
Thanks again.

I was fortunate enough to win the Ultimate Sharpening Kit from John at Sharpening Supplies last weekend. Yesterday, Big Brown had dropped off a nice box of goodies, Christmas in November………..
I received a BIG DMT diamond stone, used for initial sharpening/shaping bevel, etc. Also, a DMT stone holder/base was included. Two BIG Norton waterstones, one a 1000, and one a 4000/8000 combo stone, both in a really nice case that is also used as a sharpening station/stone base.
I am very pleased with the quality of all of these items, no junk here, just first class workmanship and pride in what you do. And, I received this in just a few days after the drawing. I have no ties to John or his company, but suffice it to say that should the need arise, he certainly gets my business. Sure is nice to deal with a dependable and top rate company that carries “the good stuff.”
Thanks again, John, and my thanks to SMC.

Thanks for the information. As someone who is just getting back into woodworking, I'll need all the input like this that I can get. John's site does look good. It's very informative. Now that I know the quality is good as well it's a place for me to bookmark and visit when I'm ready for sharpening equipment.Originally Posted by Richard Jones
We here at Penn's Woods would be happy to start helping with donations free stuff drawing. We got lots of nice wood turning stock here we would be happy to donate to help get more of this salvaged material turned instead of rotting away in the woods or being burned as firewood. Just point me in the right directions and we'll be more then happy to help out.
Thanks
