I am doing a craft show next week end and here are a few Bottle stoppers that I made for the event.
The one on the left is Walnut, the center 2 are Eucalyptus and the one on the right is Mesquite.

Don those are some beauties. Nice job on them. I am going to do a craft fair in 3 weeks. We will see what happens.

I am just about going to get started on making some bottle stoppers so I am sucking up all info and pictures on this topic. I like the one on the left and my questions are what type finish do you use?? What price do they go for?? Do you have alot of success selling them??? Are those tenon type or are they screw type??

This is the first time I have made them and my first craft show so pricing is a problem, The finish is a water based polycrilic that dries to a hard gloss and dries quick so I can get several coats on in a short time period, these are the screw on type. that I picked up at WC, there a little on the expensive side at $5.50 each, If I had time I would have gone with the ones from Arizona Silhouette but I didn't have time to drive over to Yuma and pick them up and mail order would have taken to long. If you get the mandrel and drill kit from WC don't use their drill as it is to big. DAMHIKT
