    New router table/cabinet

Getting ready to build a new router cabinet. The last one I had was great but way to heavy. Any Suggestions on a lightweight cabinet? I need to be able to roll it under the bench when not in use.

Weight/Mass is good (vibration dampening) and if you have decent double-locking casters, rolling even a heavy cabinet should be easy. That said, materials you select to built it will make a difference. Birch plywood will be much lighter than MDF or Melamine-covered Particle Board.

You can hang this one on a rafter.

    Router cabinet

I built this one for under $200 and has worked out very well. On rollers so I can move it very easily. I will say that the walnut face came out of my front yard. Cut 5 walnuts out of the yard when we bought the place 8 years ago. Won't have a nut tree in my yard to twist my ankle on. Was only able to get 1 19' log out of all. Wish that I had known then what I know now about learning to turn.
