    What is SMC worth?

Here's an interesting website, somehow it comes up with a dollar value for your website. SMC is worth a little more than pocket change, according to it. Aaron may be wanting a raise after seeing this.

Interesting Jason. Between $54K and $55K for SMC.....Not bad considering my personal sites value by this index is about 5% of that.

I did the "what's it worth?" checkup on my site... My developer owes me a sizable refund.

Derek, did you use www dot sawmillcreek dot org?

That's kinda fun. I checked Amazon and it's worth 45 million plus.

    Google is worth 376 million.

Ah. I didn't realize you had to use www. Most of these queries just look at the domain name.

    My site hasn't broken $100

That's a cool site. Don't know how they come up with those numbers but its fun to put in, say, www.amazon.com and www.microsoft.com.

The whole idea looks fishy to me. Who are those folks and what makes them credible? My guess, Nigerians and they aren't (credible).

At least they are not in Nigeria, here's the owner:

    Performance Marketing Group, Inc.
    37099 Pinetree Rd.
    Suite 204
    Pepper Pike, OH 44070
    US

It appears that they have a search engine, and this website value link may be a way to encourage people to submit to their search engine, and maybe pay the $19.99 fee for a "premium" submission. The free "basic" submission requires you to add a link to them so they can't lose.

My site has jumped up 50% in value since this morning. Didn't modify a thing on it and it had minimal traffic.

    Less is more - wahoo!
