SS guy twice over - Damage is now done!

The Damage was $4352.64 and that part is now over. No looking back. My new 5hp Sawstop was ordered Wednesday night. The HTC base added another $247 shipped and was ordered last Tuesday.

The saw will be here in about 5-7 business days. The base less than that I hope.

    My Sawstop delivery will include:
    5hp Single phase Sawstop saw
    52" Sawstop Fence
    Sawstop Extension Table
    Dado brake
    Dado insert
    Extra regular 10" blade brake
Extra Single blade zero clearence insert
Price above included shipping and tax

Kind of funny that I am a SS guy twice over now. Also own a ShopSmith Mark V from 1993.

Pics to be posted the day it arrives.
Glad its my shop I am responsible for - I only have to make me happy.

Nice "early Christmas present gloat" Mike!! Did you get the 3-phase or 1-phase 5HP motor?

I'm going to buy one soon too. There's an ever-increasing number of good cheap secondhand cabinet saws being advertized locally here.....mine will have to join them before I have space for the SS.

    Cheers,
    ave F.

5HP single phase was the motor I choose. No 3phase or phase converters in the shop as of yet. Bought the power cord and plug last night. You would think for 4 grand it would come with a power cord

Congrats on your saw order, Mike! Sounds like it's all decked out with everything you'll want.

Mike, I just looked at your "hobby farm" page... you're living in my house, fishing in my pond, driving my tractor and working, er... having fun in my shop.

    You suck.

Thanks for taking care of the place. I'll be rolling in with a moving van next weekend. Start packing.
