  1. 3D carving

For anyone who wants to get into 3D carving with their Shopbot or other cnc router check out Vectrics latest. 3D machining software. http://vectric.com/WebSite/Vectric/cut3d/c3d_index.htm
This includes one, two and four sided machining capabilities, Z level roughing passes, a slicing function that slices your model and then machines only the edges that need machining. ( a great time saver) and a bunch of other neat features. all at an affordable price.

I'm not affiliated with Vectric in any way, I just think this is another great product from them.

I have attached a little sample of some projects I cut using the software

    Joe,

Thanks for the pictures and the heads up about Vectrics 3D software. I will be using their VCarve Pro and Photo VCarve software soon

The key and ice cream cones look like they were machined from foam, nice work.
