    Sketchup Push/Pull Problem

    Hello
Im designing a small jewlery chest in Sketchup. It will have 5 drawers. The plan for the drawer fronts was to copy and paste then push/pull edges to the contstruction line for each drawer since they get wider as they get stacked down
If you look closely at the sides of the 2nd drawer PP sort of bent the edges up
Is there another way? There are mortices in the back and their locations dont change from drawer
    Thanks
    Dan

First, Push/Pull only works perpendicular to the surface you are pushing or pulling.

Instead of Push/Pull, use the Move tool. First drag a right to left selection box around one end of the drawer front you want to resize. Then use the Move tool to move the selected geometry to the construction line.

Look at this little video clip I did to see how this technique was used to extend a post with a mortise in it. Same idea for you but you want to move laterally instead.

By the way, it doesn't appear that your construction lines are angled the same. It's very slight but noticeable. What angle did you have in mind?

Don't know how many drawer fronts you wanted but here's five.

Thanks a bunch for the instruction (it works)and drawer fronts
I struck the construction line off of the front edges of the top drawer front
I'm nearly complete with the whole drawing and was planning on posting it here to for a critique as far as the use of SU.
