Bosch jigsawa 1584 ??? vs 1591

Hi all.

I am more a regular lurker than poster.

Many of you (as some mags) talked about the Bosch 1591 recently and have just very good things to say about the 1591.

I have made a few phone calls locally and did not found it..... I just bought the 1584 yesterday and would like to know if any of you have experience with it. It has less power, 5.0 amps compared to 6.4 amps (but a lot more than smaller units in the 3.7 amps - 4.0 amps), a blade changing system that seems a bit more complicated but still tool less.

One sure thing, they have a 30 day money back guarantee and for me, that means if you are not satisfied with this Bocsh model, you just dont have the rigth Bosch model.... So a hunt for the 1591 ???? But I would like to hear about the 1584.

I have used them both and I really didn't see any difference. I ended up buyin the 1591 just because it was newer. If all I could find was the 1584 I would be very happy with it.

I've used the 1584 for a long time. It is a fine saw that you will be able to use for a long time. Just a bit less power than the 1591 and minus a couple of features but will do everything you ask of it and come back for more.
