    Help attaching shelf

    I need help attaching a shelf to this table. I do not want to have it rest on dowels. Any other recommendations on how to do this

    notch out the legs to accept the corner of the shelf?

    I would notch out the shelf corners to capture the inside of each leg just above the stretchers.
