    Dan -

    From time to time I'll get "slivers" of wood that gets up into the 4" flex hose - but that is it. The DC is strong enough to suspend it in the vertical drop while still running. Normally these are short 1/8" wide off cuts that get pulled up. once the sawing is done, I just close the gate for the overhead hose and these larger pieces fall right down and out.

    Yes, that would be a lot better. Now to call Felder and see how to order one of these.
