Sharpening quick change bits

How do you guys sharpen quick change drill bits? You know, the ones with the hex shape that everybody has received a few years ago for christmas, the ones your wife bought at Sears? I bought a Drill Doctor, and promptly returned it because it didn't do more things than it did. Like quick change bits, small bits, (the ones woodworkers use, break, and dull the most), and wood bits.
Please enlighten me to the way to a sharp bit.

I use a bench grinder by eye on one piece hex shank. Not too hard to do. Grind a little, dip in water, repeat. A light touch lessens chances of overheating the bit. You have to rock the bit a little when you touch it to the wheel so the cutting edge is highter. Practice on some flea market specials.
