Jet Mini Lathe Extension Size Question

Does anyone know the overall length of a Jet mini lathe with extension? I'm hoping to build a stand for my Jet mini and I'd like it to be long enough to accomadate the extension when/if I get it. I can't find the measurement for the length of the extension anywhere. All I can find is it extens the length between centers to 40", but I need the overall length to build the stand.

Just measured mine and the base is 51" with extension. The top of the rolling stand I built is 54". The plans are from ShopNotes, Jan 2003, Issue 67. Photos are in this thread:
