    Timonium Woodworking Show, Who's going?

It's that time of year again, the Timonium woodworking show at the Maryland state fairgrounds. I've got a bit of $$$ left over from Christmas and this looks like a good place to spend it

It's Friday, Saturday and Sunday January 5-7, noon till 7 on Friday, 10-6 on Saturday and 10-4 on Sunday.

Not sure which days i'll be there but perhaps i can get together with some fellow creekers!

Last year i came home with a MM16! Wonder what this year will bring?

I'd like to go but I'm tapped out until my clients cough up. I could go there just to look around but I'd end up depressed

    I envy you Brian.

I used to live in Towson and would have been easy for me to go.

Take plenty of pictures for us.

Julio, if you leave now you'll make it here in plenty of time to attend!

Patrick, the demos are worth the price of admission even if the WW fund is a bit low.

I really can't decide what I'm getting, perhaps it's time for a Bosch Colt or a OSS from Wilke.

I'll be there; not sure which day. The web site has a coupon to get free admission for your spouse, and a buck off for you.

I'll be there Saturday morning. Not really planning on buying anything big this year. More just going to look for some fun. After last year's binge I can't afford any new toys .

    Welcome to the creek Jack!!

I'll find out tonight or tomorrow when i can get there. I might scope it out real quick on Friday after work, come home and check prices and then go back Saturday or Sunday.

    Johnathan,

    Try this site: http://www.thewoodworkingshows.com/savingsandcoupons

I'm fortunate; though my wife doesn't work wood, she's very much into stained glass. We both have shops in the basement. And, she loves to go to shows like this... and NEVER complains about my spending money. So I have to create my own fiscal discipline! (Paying for two kids in college takes care of that).

    Thanks for the reminder, Brian!

I'll be going... Sometime Saturday for sure.

Been eyeing up one of them Promax CI router table extension tables for a while now. Maybe Benchdog will be there?

Well... I didn't know about it. Gosh I just ran out to Wilke in York PA this morning and spent $1500 on a 15 inch 4 poster planer with a Shelix cutterhead. Wonder if I might have been able to get a show special or better deal down at the show from somebody.

Well looks like i'll be there early on Saturday. My shopping list so far is...

    Norton waterstones
    Garnet sandpaper
Spare blades for my MM16 and 12" Atlas
Perhaps that new 10" TS blade from Freud?
    Curved card scrapers
    A couple 30" Bessey's
