    Tool Porn Arrived Last Night

My 2007 Grizzly catalog was in the mail, man have they really gotten into the higher end lines. Too bad I ain't got no space or money . Nice sliding table saws, big ole jointers and I thought the 15" portable planer was kind of kewl, may have to take a second look at that baby as I do not have the floor space to support a floor model, but could replace the lunch box one I have now.

Anyways, one reason I like the new year is a the new catalog to drool on.

Ya, got mine, should have bought the saw I want last year. Went up $20. The old saying applies, "you snooze, you lose"

My DW733 is getting pretty long in the tooth so you had my interest piqued enough to check it out online. That does look interesting but at 178 Lbs it's sure not very portable. Looks like you don't have any choice but to pay for the stand that comes with it either. Still with 2 feed speeds, 15" width, and the ability to use moulding knives, it looks pretty nice even at $800.
Lets hope there's a new catalog in my mailbox when I get home so I can drool with the rest of you.

Actually, you're still quite lucky...with the prices of steel soaring, a lot of machinery is increasing in price a lot more than that!

My copy didn't arrive yet...but the new phone book did. They are about the same weight, I believe!

    Cool

I got mine. The LOML didn't look all that happy when she brought it in from the mailbox. She knows there are too many tempting items in there. I think I have now looked at every page at least twice. Yes, there are some drool marks too. Those I can't blame on the bassets.

If their catalog gets any thicker they're going to have to start shipping it truck freight like their machinery.

Mine is en-route, along with a front vise.

Sounds like the vise may be the lighter item in the package.
