I finished the Kim Bath cabinet...Frant Smart did a magnificent job on the stainless . He is an artist and I have enjoyed our 20 year collaboration. Here are some shots may have more to follow...

Mark,
I like your taste, and admire your skills.
Well done....Jeff
Oh boy! I'm envious of your skill and talent, Mark. Excellent work.
Mark, Hats off to you . I'm a big fan of your work.
Is that a bi-fold door, hinged only on the left side?
The SS base is nicely done. Marc
Very nice, Mark. Much more "danty" with the metal stand rather than the wood sculpted base for the other one. It gives the cabinet an entirely different feel.

Oh !!
That same old stuff again??
Don't you ever get tired of rasing the bar out reach??
Well done as always.

Mark your insight into design never ceases to amaze me. Your craftsmanship and use of exotic woods give me gives me goals! Well done!

So much to learn, so little time.....
Mark,
I so admire your ability to design, and incorporate mixed media. The cabinet is stellar. Nicely done. Can't believe how busy you've been. You've sure knocked out a bunch of work in the last couple months. Congrats on a job well done.

Mark, I don't Know how you find the time to turn out all that fine work.
Bravo!!!

These are fun , but unforgiving cabinets...any mistake will kill the overall project.. Franks stainless work is flawless ....my floating detail seems to place the cabinet on a "pedistal".... Any time you make one of these , people immediatley think of Krenov and his attention to detail and impeccable crafstmanship...he set a bar that is beyond reach! The challenge is to get as close as you can....push yourself to do your best work...The cabinet I made for Stan , followed this and it was a little better....that means I am improving and getting better as I build. I am still learning and I still have the passion that is really necessary....it is a long and endless road we are walking....and the journey is everything

Hi Mark,
As always, I remain truly in awe of your work. I must be the dissenting voice here though. The stainless base doesn't work for me. I'm sure it's made flawlessly and it might come off differently in person but to my eye the cabinet overpowers the base and it seems incongruous. Call me a cretin, but that's how it looks to me.
Thing is, if we all saw things with the same eye, we could all just shop at Ikea and be done with it.
Thanks for showing
Regards

Now this one is for a bathroom where there will be stainless plumbimg fixtures to draw from...the other context for Stan was his Living Room which has a lot of wood elements...Come June her home wil be completed and I can get photos of all the furniture in situ...

That's really beautiful Mark. Your work is truly inspiring; I know a lot of us look up to your example in both the design and execution departments. Bravo!
Mark, I continued to be awed by your design and craftsmanship. That’s simply beautiful. While I agree that the metal base is not as striking as the wood one, it makes the cabinet stand out and look like it’s floating. I’m looking forward to the pictures from the bathroom after it’s in place.
Not too long ago I stumbled on your web site and I was surfing around. I copied some to your tutorials for my notebook. They are excellent and will be very useful to me. Thank you for sharing your expertise.
