It's always nice to see $2.00 on the side of a tool that you bought off ebay for $25. But man, it is in GREAT shape. Doesn't look like it has been used much at all. The blade and body only have very minor wear. Cut very well on first try, I'm going to clean it up and put it to work soon.

I've got my Stanley #5, #60 1/2, and #151 (spoke shave). The only other tool I'm waiting on is my draw knife.

I finished my work bench yesterday, and picked up some really nice pieces of wood this weekend: 10"x2"x8' piece of flawless basswood and some smaller pieces of maple, cherry, oak, and cedar.

So canoe paddles... here I come!

Thanks to everyone at SMC for helping me in my decision making. I'll be sure to post some pictures of the journey.
