    Miter Saw Blade help...

I'm in need of a new 12" saw blade for my miter saw. I have an older 12" Dewalt slider. I am currently using an 80 tooth Dewalt finish blade, but it has been sharpened about 7 or 8 times and to be honest, has just not seemed to cut as well over the last year. It is almost as if it is wearing out, or breaking down. Anyways, I would like to purchase at least another 80 tooth blade for finish cuts. I would like to keep it under $130 if possible. I've used the Forrest blades and thought they were nice, but also the high end Dewalt blades cut nice. I'm really curious about the Tenryu blades. Seems to be pretty reasonably priced on amazon. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Steve, I worked in a cabinet shop for a couple years and the Tenryu blades were used almost exclusively. The owner swore by them and I can honestly say, in my experience using them at work I never had bad cuts in any material. That could probably be said for a lot of blades, but the Tenryus never had any issues in our shop. Keep in mind that big shops keep their blades sharp and get them sharpened at least every 2 weeks. Steve, I hope this helps in your decision.

Tenryu makes nice blades and has a good reputation. (But I do like my Forrest ChopMaster a lot...)
