completed TV console w/lift - pics

I finally finished the TV console. I'm pretty happy with it, mostly the design. It was a really tight fit getting the lift, TV, and all the cabling inside. The customer was very specific on the final size. After seeing it, she decided to send back her new couch and buy a new smaller one to show more of the console. The lift is from G&G Trade Corp and the TV is a 42" Sony plasma. Thanks for looking.

    Totally Awesome!

That is just awesome James! If the client is not happy with it, give me a hollar and I will take it.

I would love to hear more about the construction and finishing of the console.

    Thanks for the post!

What a great way to maintain your room's space and still have the TV. This is too cool. I like it much better than wall mounting. Great job.

    James -

Absolutely beautiful. Thanks for posting that it was a G&G lift that you used. I have been looking for alternative lifts to use in a similar fashion and will check out the G&G.

    Again, mucho nice work!

Wow. That's amazing. I'm new here, so I don't know if this is fair to ask, but how much did you end up charging? It's beautiful.

Excellent detail and finish. I have wanted to build one but the cost of the lift has held me back.

    Lovely piece! Turned out wonderfully!

Now...I can see what the customer is trying to accomplish, but I'd find that couch "really distracting"...

Great job --- It looks beautiful. I agree with Jim about the couch. It seems to me that the room needs to be rearranged, but I'm no interior decorater.

Cabinet is beautiful. The beauty of the piece is lost behind the couch though. Ugly couch imo so tell her to just scrap it and dedicate the space to your masterpiece.
Glad its my shop I am responsible for - I only have to make me happy.
