Alan, Check Amazon daily in their sale area for clamps and I was just on ebay looking at clamps, some very good deals just watch the shipping charges...

My local Woodcraft is clearing out all there Gross Stabil parrallel jaw clamps. If you have one nearby, you might want to check.

I think the Jet 24" at $29.08 and free shipping is a solid deal right now at Amazon. It better be, I just bought 4. Which they are shipping in 4 different shipments. Don't ask me why. I guess it's their money.
