amazon deal on 10" makita sliding laser miter $375

Kudos for the heads up on this deal. I was not even thinking of upgrading my saw until I saw this.

I mentioned the deal to my wife and how I could offset the cost by selling my old saw and selling the free drill kit and to my surprise she said to go ahead. She thought it was a great deal and she had been saving some money for a rainy day and just handed it over.

Just pulled the trigger on the 12" saw.

Only downside is that I think thanks to SMC they are now backordered until about March 21 or later.

My saw was backordered until March 21st-it shipped yesterday!

My 12" saw shipped yesterday from Dallas, TX via UPS Ground. It's due for delivery this Friday. I sold my C10FSH for $350, so it was about $100 to upgrade to this Makita. I liked the Hitachi and the smoothness of the motor, but I disliked the small base.

Well, I guess I missed the boat. Just logged into Amazon and the saw was listed as "Makita LS1013F 10" Dual Slide Compound Miter saw with Light $442.88" all the way to the final confirmation. Wish I would have seen this sooner! In any case, my thanks to Craig Lapiana for posting this originally! Nice job!
