    Cordless Drill Batteries

    I finally got one of Amazons deals (I thinK) nice Makita cordless drill. I don't really need it myself but thought it would make a nice Christmas present for my daughter. My only concern is, the shelf life of the batteries. Will they be ok 10 months from now when it is Christmas?
