    San Francisco, CA? Creeker Dinner?

Hello from sunny San Mateo! I'd post pictures except I left the firewire cable for my camera at home.

Thanks to all who gave the great advice about San Francisco! I've stuffed myself silly on Dim Sum, Cioppino, Lattes from Caffe Trieste.. you name it. The Wharf has been a blast.

Any other 'Creekers in the area want to get together, tomorrow (Thurs, Feb 29, 2007) at 7pm? Perhaps a local can suggest where.

I'm at the San Mateo Marriott-

    So far:

    Hey Aaron,

Hubby (George) and I are in! We can swing by and pick you up, we don't live too far if you want to head into SF for dinner. What do you feel like eating? I think Dave is in San Jose though, so might be a far trek, but if he can meet up at your hotel, we can drive up together to SF?

    Not sure yet...

Not sure yet if I can make it, but I'm north of SF, so San Francisco means more likely

Yep, I'm in. I can swing by the hotel and pick you up if you want Aaron. I will probably have Bill Villamor with me (he's an SMC lurker!). I also let Calvin, another local guy know about it, so he might turn up too.

    Cheers,
    Dave Fifield

What do you guys feel like eating? I vote for SF so Dan can join too and it's not that far from San Mateo.

SF is fine with me - nothing too fancy/pricey though - good honest healthy food is what I like. Any ideas? Please consider parking! Will we have to make a reservation?

    Cheers,

Oh, BTW Aaron, it's not a leap year, so it's Thursday March 1st

What about Chris Padilla? Anyone know how to contact him?

    How does this place sound?

My friend has visited this place a lot, although it says "Flower Mart" (yes they do sell flowers during the day) the owner has branched out to a pretty decent restaurant.

Their website looks like it's under construction, but the menu looks like this:

    http://web.archive.org/web/200503062...com/dinner.htm

They have a free parking lot too.

    The Flower Market Cafe
    is located at
    698 Brannan Street
    (and 6th Street)
    San Francisco, California 94107

Can't really think of any other place in SF that might have free parking

Flower Market Cafe, 6th & Brannan, at 7:00 it is!

(And, yes, for those of you confused by the note on that website, I just called, and they are serving dinner)

Dave, are you gonna swing by and pick up Aaron? So we are at about 6-7 people? I can call for reservations if Dan hasn't done so yet

Dave has offered to pick me up on the way- (Dave, I'll call ya)

I'll probably shoot for 7 and expect 7:30.

Helen, if you want to PM me your cell, I'll call you in case anything unexpected happens (earthquake, etc).
