Wow Travis - beautiful work as we have all come to expect! Love the contrast between the dark wood in the body and the light collar. Last photo really shocked me as I didn't expect the sapwood - love the contrast!!
Once again - great work!

When your surface looks that good in gloss black, you know you've done well. That's a beauty Travis.

Travis,
Where are you finding Ebony of that size? Everywhere I look, all I see is 1x1x12 and other small spindle/pen blanks.
Your hollow form is nicely proportioned.
May all your turnings be smooth,

Very stunning piece Travis. Although those weren't the first words that came out of my mouth when I opened this thread.
Beautiful finish.
Awesome piece Travis! Great contrasts.
Of course at $75/bd ft for Gabon Ebony the $250 starting bid isn't going to take it home I don't think. Then add the excellent craftmanship and presentation, there's going to be a bidding war.

Once again my mouth is watering....or is it my eyes watering...or both....
Again, you have produced a seriously beautiful piece Travis!
